We’re looking for a mid-level Gameplay Programmer with strong Unreal Engine 5 experience to work on a co-development project with a French game studio.

This is a hands-on implementation role focused on gameplay systems, multiplayer features, and working within an existing production environment. Tasks and priorities will come directly from the client studio, so success in this role depends on strong communication, adaptability, and the ability to become productive quickly inside an established codebase.

You’ll work closely with external developers, follow a defined workflow, and contribute production-ready gameplay code using Unreal Engine 5 C++ and Blueprints.

What you will be doing:

· Develop gameplay systems in Unreal Engine 5 using C++ and Blueprints

· Work within an existing multiplayer-focused codebase

· Implement features and tasks defined by the external partner studio

· Collaborate with designers, programmers, and producers across teams

· Debug, maintain, and improve gameplay functionality

· Follow established pipelines, coding standards, and production workflows

· Communicate progress, blockers, and technical questions clearly and proactively

What we’re looking for from you:

Requirements

· 2–5 years of professional gameplay programming experience

· Strong Unreal Engine 5 experience

· Solid C++ skills and practical Blueprint usage

· Understanding of gameplay architecture in Unreal Engine

· Experience reading and working within existing codebases

· Good written and spoken English communication skills

· Ability to work independently after initial onboarding

· Comfortable operating in a co-development environment with externally assigned tasks

Nice to have

· Multiplayer/networking experience in Unreal Engine

· Understanding of replication, RPCs, GameMode, GameState, and PlayerState

· Experience shipping or contributing to released games

· Experience joining projects mid-development

What can you expect during the Interview Process:

For this role we plan to have 3 stages of interview, below we have outlined what you can expect from each:

A 30-minute conversation focused on communication, adaptability, and your experience working in Unreal Engine and existing development environments.

Stage 2 — Practical Test

An Unreal Engine 5 multiplayer programming task designed to evaluate gameplay architecture, networking fundamentals, and code quality.

Stage 3 — Final Interview with Stefan Lolic & Boris Posavec (Senior Graphics Programmer)

A final discussion focused on team fit, workflow expectations, and confirming mutual alignment for the role.

Please be aware that there may be some slight changes to the interview teams and order of interviews depending on availability; we will give you full details with ample time ahead of each conversation.

What we can offer you:

· 20 days of annual leave plus public holidays
