Digital Marketing Specialist

We’re hiring a new marketing team member to help us with our owned channel management. You’ll collaborate with other team members on projects and campaigns to support the game and its community, especially through the development and publishing of web content. For this role, we ask that you have a thorough knowledge of Guild Wars 2, including the game as it is today. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Contributes to and publishes content across digital channels.
  • Assists with pipeline management for web contenWorks with marketing and creative teams on production of marketing materials and assets.
  • Contributes to team brainstorming and campaign planning.
  • Contributes to regular community and marketing team reports regarding player feedback, sentiment and trends, and campaign performance.
  • Contributes to the success of other marketing and community projects.
  • Assists with fan event planning.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Game Design, or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience required
  • Excellent collaboration and communication practices
  • Strong emphasis on cooperative problem-solving
  • Strong knowledge of Guild Wars franchise and Guild Wars 2 specifically
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Superior attention to detail with strong organizational, project management, coordination, and multi-tasking skills
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and consistency of work, including adhering to brand standards and overall communication strategy
  • Strong understanding of online communities, including gaming and creative communities
  • Strong understanding of web and social media technologies
  • Analytical and curious
  • Fluency in French, German, Spanish, or Korean a plus

Travel may be required several times a year for specific industry or business events

We are open to remote work in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, MA, MD, NC, NV, NY OR, TX, UT and WA or onsite/hybrid/flex at our office in Bellevue, WA.

Total compensation is salary plus an annual bonus potential. Please note that the listed pay range is a general guideline only. We take into consideration the geography in which you live and your experience and qualifications when determining final salary. This role is also eligible for medical, dental, vision and life insurance, short and long term disability, 401(k), flexible and dependent care spending accounts, PTO, paid holidays and parental leave.

$70,000—$100,000 USD
