We are looking for talented 2D illustrators to join our ambitious team—artists with sharp visual instincts, strong worldbuilding skills, and the ability to bring the HAVOC universe to life through stunning imagery. Whether your expertise lies in character design, environment painting, creature concepts, or hard-surface rendering, we want to see how your art can define the brutal, high-concept aesthetic of HAVOC Gen Zero, our flagship project. Illustrate the Universe. Create high-quality, original illustrations that define the world of HAVOC Gen Zero, capturing its characters, environments, machines, creatures, and scenes with precision and mood. Specialize in Strengths. Whether you're a landscape artist, a character designer, an exobiology expert, or a hard-surface artist, your skills will shape the game’s visual identity in a meaningful way. Maintain a Cohesive Vision. Work closely with our art team to ensure consistency in style, detail, and narrative fidelity across all illustrations. Contribute to Worldbuilding. Go beyond the canvas—conceptualize and refine the lore, history, and purpose behind the visuals you create. Iterate & Finalize. Follow our tried-and-tested art pipeline of sketches, color passes, and revisions to push illustrations to their highest potential. A perfect candidate for this position should have: - Exceptional freehand illustration skills in one or more areas: characters, creatures, environments, vehicles, or tech design. - A rich, versatile portfolio showcasing strong composition, lighting, and storytelling in a dark sci-fi or hard-edged fantasy aesthetic. - Experience in game or card illustration, concept art, or worldbuilding-driven projects. - Proficiency in industry-standard software (Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, Blender, etc.). - A passion for science fiction and storytelling, with a knack for creating bold, immersive imagery and testing novel visual ideas.
