Product Designer, 2D

You will design the 2D and UI authoring tools that thousands of Unity creators use every day. You will partner closely with the 2D and UI engineering team to deliver the most delightful user experience when interacting with Unity.

What you'll be doing

• Shape a coherent workflow across the 2D and UI authoring tools.
• Communicate direction through sketches, user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs.
• Validate your work with studio partners and Unity creators through user testing and focus groups, then carry it through to what ships.
• Partner with Unity's wider design team to keep your work consistent and coherent with the rest of the Editor.

What we're looking for

• Experience designing within real-world client constraints.
• Able to act as the design voice inside an engineering team and set direction.
• Strong proficiency in Figma or similar software.
• Experience as a tool designer for technical users, such as editors or other professional software.
• Knowledge of game development pipelines, so tools fit smoothly into production.

You might also have

• Hands-on experience making games or art.
• Experience with a process backed by hands-on user testing, usability studies and focus groups, turning what you learn into validated design decisions.
• Experience applying AI thinking to design workflows.

Base Salary Range: S$85,800 - S$128,800 SGD gross

This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate’s relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
