Job Title: Junior Game Developer (Java / libGDX)

Job Type: Contractor

Location: Remote

In this position, you will utilize your expertise to assist in training the next generation of AI systems. Your contributions will influence how models learn, reason, and operate by providing high-quality, real-world data. No previous experience in AI is necessary — what counts is your domain knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and enhance straightforward 2D game features utilizing Java and the libGDX framework.
  • Work closely with AI experts to design captivating game interactions and gather high-quality training data.
  • Develop fundamental game mechanics such as sprite management, game loops, and input processing.
  • Identify and resolve code issues to guarantee optimal performance and stability of game components.
  • Engage in code reviews and help improve internal coding standards.
  • Clearly document technical procedures and game development workflows for cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate effectively within the team, providing consistent status updates and actively seeking feedback.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
  • Practical experience with libGDX gained through coursework, personal projects, or prototypes.
  • Knowledge of essential game development concepts like game loops, sprites, and input handling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clear technical documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote team setting.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and proactive attitude toward creating games or interactive applications.
  • Willingness to participate in an AI interview as part of the hiring process.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • A portfolio showcasing small games or demo projects (links to GitHub or playable demos are preferred).
  • Familiarity with vectors, collision detection, or basic 2D physics concepts.
  • Experience with Git version control for collaborative development.
