Playtech's Casino unit is looking for a proactive Junior Front End Game Developer with great communication skills.
Job Description
Your influential mission. You will...
- Develop and support frontend parts of casino games using our internal framework (TypeScript + Pixi.js + GSAP)
- Learn and work with an internal game framework built in TypeScript
- Implement animations, UI interactions, and game logic
- Write robust and maintainable code
- Collaborate closely with international teams (Ukraine, Estonia, Israel, Bulgaria)
- Proactively contribute ideas to improve framework and development processes
Qualifications
Components for success. You...
- Have 1+ year of commercial experience in front-end development
- Possess solid knowledge of TypeScript / JavaScript
- Understand OOP principles and design patterns
- Can write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Hold a formal degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field
You'll get extra points for...
- Previous background in game development
- Experience with Pixi.js or other 2D rendering/game engines (Phaser, Three.js, etc.)
- Knowledge of GSAP or similar animation libraries
- Experience in Mobile/Web development projects
- Familiar with npm, Browserify, Gulp, Lerna
- Git or other version control systems
- Knowledge of Java
