Role Overview
We’re looking for a Growth Director to own how Clipwire’s games find and keep their players. You’ll lead paid and organic acquisition, ad monetisation, UA creative, creative production, lifecycle, social, and VIP player support, with accountability for profitable growth across our three live titles.
This isn’t just a UA role. You’ll shape how acquisition, creative, measurement, monetisation, and product work together to grow the business. This is a senior leadership role reporting to the CEO, leading our Growth organization through its functional leads.
Responsibilities
- Own the growth strategy, annual plan, budget, and performance targets across our portfolio of live games.
- Lead our UA, creative, monetisation, and lifecycle functions, developing strong leaders and high-performing teams.
- Own paid and organic acquisition strategy, investment allocation, measurement, attribution, and experimentation.
- Own ad monetisation strategy and revenue, including mediation, network partnerships, bidding, and eCPM optimization, partnering with Product on placements and frequency to balance ad revenue with player experience.
- Make creative a major growth lever, setting the strategy and bar for creative testing, velocity, innovation, and performance.
- Use data to uncover opportunities across acquisition, retention, monetisation, and product, and turn them into high-impact growth experiments.
- Partner closely with Product, LiveOps, Economy Design, Creative, and Data Science to improve LTV and unlock new opportunities for scale.
- Own lifecycle management across our player base, leading win-back and reactivation of lapsed players and VIP programs that retain and grow our highest-value players.
- Champion the use of AI across the Growth team, building AI-powered processes and workflows across UA, creative, lifecycle, and VIP support to increase speed, scale, and quality.
- Establish clear operating rhythms and report growth performance, opportunities, and investment recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mobile gaming growth, performance marketing, or user acquisition, including experience at significant scale.
- Proven experience owning and scaling multi-million-dollar UA budgets across major mobile advertising channels.
- Deep understanding of mobile growth economics, including LTV, ROAS, attribution, incrementality, and performance measurement.
- Strong creative strategy and testing experience, with a track record of using creative to drive UA performance.
- Experience identifying and driving growth opportunities across UA, monetisation, retention, and product.
- An analytical and experimental mindset, with the ability to make high-value decisions quickly from imperfect data.
- Strong cross-functional and executive communication skills, with the autonomy to set direction and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience in free-to-play mobile games, strong preference for casual, casino, or other hybrid monetisation models
