About Endless Studios and Endstar
Endless Studios teaches game development through real studio projects. We are bringing a full game design curriculum into US high school CTE programs, starting in Florida in January 2027.
Students build in Endstar, our 3D game engine. Endstar is designed so first-time creators can start making games right away, with no coding experience needed. They place props and shape terrain, then use rule blocks to wire up how things in the game interact. From there they grow into Lua scripting to customize how objects behave, and into our Unity-based SDK to build their own props and environments. Students can build together in the same game in real time, publish what they make, and play and give feedback on games from other creators.
Getting you up to speed: You don’t need Endstar experience to apply. If you’ve taught Unity, much of it will feel familiar and we'll train you. Your hours for onboarding are fully paid and include: Endstar training, a guided walkthrough with our CTE product lead, then building a short game of your own with the Endstar wiki and scripting docs. That way you know the platform from the student’s side before you write a lesson for it.
The Work
You will turn Florida's game design CTE standards into lessons students do. Working with our CTE product lead, you will:
- Build in-engine activities in Endstar for Game & Simulation Foundations, then Game & Simulation Design.
- Write lessons, assessments and teacher guides aligned to the Florida curriculum frameworks.
- Create Unity bridge lessons that prepare students for the Unity Certified User exams.
- Record short screen-capture tutorials teachers can use in class.
- Tell our platform team what teachers and students need from Endstar.
You Might be a Fit if You Have
- At least two years teaching high school game design, game programming or game art. Florida CTE experience is ideal.
- Unity experience and the ability to teach it to the Unity Certified User level.
- Curriculum or lessons you wrote that other teachers have used.
- 15 to 20 hours a week available through November 2026.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Florida's game design curriculum frameworks, or students who passed Unity or Certiport exams.
- A Unity certification, Lua or visual scripting, Blender, or experience with Roblox, Minecraft Education or Endstar.
- Experience as a CTE lead teacher, coordinator or administrator.
The Details
- Independent contract, remote, with flexible hours that fit around a school schedule. Current classroom teachers are welcome.
- $55 to $75 per hour depending on experience, plus paid time to learn Endstar.
- Initial engagement through November 2026, with the opportunity to continue into spring 2027.
- Finalists complete a short paid work sample.
