About the Work
At Esports Performance Academy (EPA), we coach competitive players, teams, and run esports events for schools and communities. We take the competition seriously, and we want students to have a tournament experience that's organized, fair, and fun.
We're looking for people who can help make that happen in Dallas.
What You'll Do
Help check in players, get matches started, keep brackets and results accurate, answer questions from students and coaches, and handle the unexpected things that come up at live events.
Your assignment will depend on the games you know and your tournament experience.
You'd Be a Good Fit If You…
- Know competitive Super Smash Bros., Fortnite, Rocket League, or Mario Kart. You don't need to know all four.
- Understand tournament brackets and match formats. Experience with gaming & esports tournament platforms is a plus.
- Communicate professionally and clearly at all times with students, coaches, and other event personnel.
- Can stay organized when things get busy and reliably work in person in Dallas.
Upcoming Event
Our next tournament is Saturday, October 31, 2026.
This is an event-based independent contractor opportunity paying $15–$25/hour, depending on experience and assignment.

We'd like to hear from you! Please include your resume, the games you are familiar with at an advanced level, and any other relevant details.
