As the VP of Engineering of VGW’s flagship product, you will guide and inspire your team to reach new heights in product development and delivery. You will bring a unique blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership capability to drive the long-term strategic direction of the engineering team, ensuring alignment with the company's mission. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• You will lead the engineering function of a product with multiple billions in revenue  
• You will create and improve development and operational capabilities, including disaster recovery, high systems availability, on-demand scalable solutions, infrastructure monitoring and continuous deployment capabilities  
• You will expand and diversify the technology team globally to increase the speed of delivery and reduce location-based risks, both by working with the talent team to recruit world-class talent and putting processes in place to optimise globally distributed teams
• You will set the standard for innovation and excellence across the team

What you will bring to the role:

• You are a senior engineering leader with a proven ability to manage, mentor, motivate and grow high-performing engineering teams
• You are an excellent communicator who can engage and influence a wide range of key stakeholders
• You are a talented engineer who can lean into the tools regarding design and solution architecture
• Your engineering experience includes .NET, Java, Javascript, Rust, and Kotlin
• You have managed and grown geographically distributed engineering teams
• You have experience in the online gaming or social gaming industry
