Job Overview
Wargaming is looking for a UX Researcher (Quantitative) to work on World of Warships Franchise in our brand-new Belgrade office
World of Warships is the best naval game around, letting you take the command of legendary warships from the period of the 20th century as you battle your way across the open sea with other players.
The UX Research team interacts with development, publishing, analytics, and product directors from all projects in the studio. The team's work focuses on providing information support to product teams, ensuring their knowledge of user experience and feedback.
The position of UX Researcher offers the opportunity to develop skills in quantitative research, data analysis, and visualization. Additionally, there is the potential to participate in cross-project activities combining both quantitative and qualitative research.
The position provides the opportunity to learn modern research tools for online surveys, data analysis, and interactive visualization, as well as gain multidimensional research experience in game development.
What will you do?
- Creating surveys in the Alchemer (considering complex custom settings, logic, randomization, etc.)
- Sending surveys through the company's internal system
- Extracting and processing survey results using various tools (custom scripts in R, Python, etc.)
- Visualizing research results (DataTile, Tableau)
- Communicating with team members, defining research requirements and methodology
- Working with game statistics data (using it for grouping in survey research and independent telemetry data analysis)
- Developing survey practices (including automation)
- Assisting the team in research (peer-review, methodological syncing, etc.)
What are we looking for?
- Experience in data analytics projects using R/Python and conducting quantitative and qualitative (optional) research
- Experience working with survey constructors and designing surveys.
- Knowledge of mathematical statistics and the ability to apply it, including descriptive statistics, data weighting, cluster analysis, etc.
- Strong attention to detail, responsibility, and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Languages: Fluent Russian, B2 English
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Degree in Sociology or Psychology
- Familiarity with UX and UR methods
- Experience working with databases (SQL)
- Experience working with data visualization tools (Tableau, etc.)
