What you'll do:

Develop or Enhance test plans, test strategies and processes with automation driven mindset

Work with multi-functional teams to create, maintain, and improve automated test suites for applications on the PlayStation console
-
Set up, develop and enhance test frameworks and help teams set up automation infrastructure, build end-to-end environments
-
Author common API’s and libraries for test automation

Work full-stack to ensure that all features and bug fixes come with automated test coverage
-
Collaborate with distributed teams for automation design, architecture and functionality development championing quality

Work with infrastructure and tooling teams to build and maintain common tools and services.

Analyze gaps and bring innovative solutions
-
Contribute towards proof of concepts and driving innovation/ideas to completion

Coaching and mentoring other QE engineers on the best practices
-
Create or enhance documentation and best practices
Required Qualifications:
-
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge
-
At least eight years quality engineering experience and 5+ years in test automation development for web or native applications and microservices
-
Validated experience designing and creating automation frameworks and test suites
-
Experience with version control solutions (both centralized and distributed)
-
Experience setting up and maintaining CI systems (Jenkins preferred)
-
Strong knowledge of SDLC, testing methodologies, Quality processes
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with at least one modern web application framework such as Angular/Ember.js/React
-
Experience developing or testing a non-PC device (phone/game console/set-top box, etc.)
-
Significant experience with both Node.js , JavaScript and Python
-
Experience with in API functional testing, API test development
-
Experience with Selenium or Appium
-
Experience with React Native
-
Experience developing or writing test code for a game console
