Sr. Technical Sound Designer [Black Budget]

We are headquartered in Seoul, South Korea and sit within the KRAFTON, Inc. corporation. From our Amsterdam office, we cover Europe, Middle East & Africa, and the CIS region, and have teams dedicated to Product Management, Esports, Content, Communications, Creative, Merchandise, HR and more. We are also creating a new game here, with a growing development team working on a brand-new IP.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Sound Designer with an innovative, problem-solving mindset and high attention to detail. As a Senior Technical Sound Designer, you will be joining an ambitious team of other audio specialists where your skills will be essential in creating a state-of-the-art, AAA experience.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the audio team and other departments to develop, prototype, and debug audio features.
• Design, implement, and maintain audio features using Wwise and UE5.
• Research, define, and document audio solutions.
• Support others with knowledge and practical help.

What we’re ideally looking for: 

• Previous experience in the game industry in a similar Senior level position. Demonstrable knowledge of game audio and implementation.
• Demonstrable experience with sound design for games.
• Excellent with Audiokinetic's Wwise.
• Proficient with game engines (preferably UE4 and higher).
• Familiar with programming/(visual)scripting languages.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

The following is a plus:

• A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree. Preferably audio-related design studies and/or computer science.
• Experience working on AAA projects / shipped at least one PC title (TPS or FPS).
• Affinity with competitive FPS games.
