GetMega is founded by two Computer Sciences Undergraduates from IIT Kanpur who have previously run and sold VC funded startup in the logistics domain. We are based out of Bengaluru, India and have raised multi-million dollar funding from Top-Tier Institutional Venture Capitalists to disrupt the multi-billion dollar skill based gaming market around the world.

Values of the Product A-Team:
Product-Minded - We believe in a mix of data-led and intuitive/Player Focus Group Discussion (FGD) based product decisions. You will have to work closely with our Players, Data and Design teams to understand player psyche, so we can create a more frictionless experience for Mega players.

Ownership & Delivery - We work in small cross-functional teams, making a large impact on the products we create from idea to launch.

Iterate Quickly - We have a bias to build MVPs and collect direct feedback from the players of our software for faster iteration.

As one of the first Product Manager at Mega, you will have a rare opportunity to shape Mega’s front end systems, product culture, development and deployment practices while evangelising a strong product culture across all teams. Your work will have a direct impact on the User Experience and User Interface of all the early Mega players across the world. What should you deeply care about?

What would you be doing?

    • Manage and drive the growth product roadmap
    • Own delivery of product initiatives and releases for all our growth features 
    • Explore, identify and execute on strategic growth opportunities
    • Provide insights – identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to user growth
    • Design and execute multiple A/B and multivariate tests to optimize conversion across different steps of the user journey.
    • Work closely with Engineering, and Analytics teams to define and execute growth experiments
    • Actively measure conversion across the product funnel, interpret trends and identify opportunities to innovate and improve
    • Define OKRs and produce meaningful Funnel KPI dashboards and deliver daily, weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights for leadership team

Who you are?

    • Product Managers have to be technical enough to understand how our underlying products are built and have a keen eye for design.
    • You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels, in different shapes depending on the context
    • Experience of building products with User Interfaces together with UX specialist and designers.
    • In this role will be open to healthy dose of creativity to define a vision and be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of a product.
    • You will be the leader at the forefront as this role would require strong collaboration across various team and be the focal point for all stakeholders nearly in all functions.
    • Strong analytical skills and experience with tools for doing data analysis
    • Strong empathy for the player/customer and other stakeholders
    • A desire to dive in and learn about new problem spaces

Superpowers you’ll need to be a success in this role?

    • 4+ years experience in product management. Preferably in executing growth features with success in improving KPI from early stage to scale
    • Prior experience with cross functional role at growth and product teams is a huge plus
    • You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels, in different shapes depending on the context
    • Experience with analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Optimizely, etc
    • Demonstrated business savvy and technical skills, and ability to think strategically and execute tactically
    • A proactive, self-driven, and diligent individual who can thrive in an environment that is constantly changing, frequently uncertain, and at times chaotic
    • Experience working in startups or successful entrepreneurial adventures and working in a startup environment is highly desired
    • Passion for the industry and keeping up with new technologies is a plus
