Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in San Francisco, CA to design and develop the software for mobile and hybrid applications and systems using modern Agile Techniques such as Scrum. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and one (1) year of experience developing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms. Prior experience must include one (1) year of ascertaining software requirements, estimating effort and related costs, executing technical software design, planning software projects and monitoring existing software; writing robust unit tests and component tests for various features in order to have stability and maintainability in codebase; improving team processes and proposing standard methodologies for building high performing teams; participating and engaging in scrum ceremonies including planning, standup, demo and retrospectives; augmenting knowledge base by authoring technical and user documentation; and providing rotational on call production support.
