ABOUT GUNZILLA GAMES

Founded in 2020, Gunzilla Games is a fresh, independent AAA developer working on its Battle Royale 2.0 Off The Grid in three metropolitan locations: Frankfurt, Germany (HQ); Los Angeles, USA; and Kyiv, Ukraine. The company is helmed by serial entrepreneur CEO, Vlad Korolev and CSO Alexander Zoll. Gunzilla is built on the desire to innovate and push the limits of the industry.

Morgan, Script Writer.

    • ABOUT THE JOB

      Gunzilla Games are seeking a Senior Technical Animator to work closely with our Animation and Tech art teams on Character Locomotion for our game OTG (Off The Grid), an all-new AAA Battle Royale 2.0 third-person shooter, due for release on PlayStation®5, Xbox® Series X|S and PC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Understand/Setup/Extend the character locomotion system
    • Work with Animators to create best practices and optimal workflows
    • Setting up and maintaining Animation Blueprints together with Gameplay and Engineering teams.
    • Analyze character-related memory/performance concerns throughout a project's development.
    • Formulate requests for Technical art and Engineering to develop tools.
    • Mentoring junior technical animators.

REQUIREMENTS

    • 3+ years of experience working on locomotion systems.
    • Expert knowledge of animation and locomotion systems.
    • Excellent knowledge of the tech animation topics like state machines, blend trees, etc.
    • Ability to provide clear solutions to complicated issues.
    • Ability to self-direct, and be autonomous when required.
    • Strong knowledge in Rigging in Maya.
