Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test in San Diego, CA to work with globally distributed teams to engage early and provide continuous delivery of high-quality software products. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience reporting, tracking, and verifying software defects. Prior experience must include five (5) years of progressive experience creating testing frameworks for automation infrastructure; building and executing test plans and test cases; developing and implementing standard methodologies for automation, continuous build and deploy, automated testing, and multi-functional end-to-end testing including device and performance testing; troubleshooting and fixing software issues including regression bugs; working with developers to ensure that all features and bug fixes come with automated test coverage; maintaining and improving Python based automation frameworks; providing production deployment support and post release; working with agile development methodologies and TDD processes; using Git source control and bug tracking systems in a Jira team environment; testing APIs and Service Oriented architecture; and utilizing tools including Jenkins, Docker, Selenium and Appium.
