Senior Litigation Paralegal

Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC (SIE), the company that brings PlayStation video game products to the world, has an exciting opportunity for a hard-working litigation paralegal. In this role, you will work with a seasoned team of attorneys and paralegals in our litigation group. This role will have exposure to the daily functions of a fast-paced international legal department. If you are highly organized, have experience supporting attorneys, a great teammate, have excellent communication skills, and have experience and passion for work as a litigation paralegal, then we’d love to hear from you.

The SIE Legal Department provides legal and business advice and guidance in a manner that supports and promotes the goals and business of Sony Interactive Entertainment, and that reflects the ethics and standards of Sony Group Corporation.


  • Support attorneys and work with other paralegals focused on litigation, pre-litigation disputes, and law -enforcement data requests;
  • Collect and prioritize documents for production in litigation matters;
  • Assist in responses to document production requests, interrogatories, and subpoenas;
  • Assist with preparation for presentations and meetings;
  • Monitor and track outside counsel budgets using an Assist outside counsel in using an e-billing software solution;
  • Assist with litigation budgeting and accrual tracking;
  • Maintain a library of templates and legal resources;
  • Scan, copy, and mail documents;
  • Draft letters and basic agreements for attorney review;
  • Upload to and pull contracts from a contract -management database;
  • Mentor and train junior other paralegals staff as necessary;.
  • Various other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills

  • At least 8 years of litigation paralegal experience in a similar role, preferably involving patent, trademark, copyright, commercial, class action, regulatory and competition-related lawsuits at a law firm or corporate legal department environment;
  • Undergrad degree (e.g., B.A. or B.S.) or alternative relevant experience;
  • Strict confidentiality with internal information;
  • Extensive experience with document collection and production of emails and other electronic documents in complex litigation matters;
  • Strong organization and communication skills, both written and spoken;
  • Ability to manage multiple calendars and projects optimally and efficiently;
  • Extensive experience with ediscovery platforms, such as Relativity and Office 365 eDiscovery;
  • Extensive experience in Strong ability to using word-processing and email applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G Suite Docs, Outlook);
  • Preferred: experience with Pacer, Lexis-Nexis, Conga Novatus, and SimpleLegal;
  • Preferred: paralegal certificate.
