THE ROLE:
Our studio is looking for a Senior Graphics Engineer who is experienced in modern real time rendering and graphics techniques. The ideal candidate will be able to design and implement new graphics feature customizations into Unreal Engine, as well as respond to feature requests from Art & Design with a focus on performance and maintainability within the scope of a stylized rendering pipeline. We are seeking someone who is ready to dive into new problems, figure out novel solutions to existing problems, and able to tackle Graphics problems across PC & Console. We are all enthusiastic about helping to shape a culture of collaboration and trust while creating best-in-class games.
The salary range for this position is $147,800 – $221,700. This range represents the salary for the position commensurate with experience, knowledge, and demonstrated success in the field.
WHO YOU ARE:
- You are an effective communicator and collaborator across multiple disciplines.
- You possess strong engineering fundamentals and C++ knowledge.
- You live and breathe graphics programming, constantly on the lookout for new innovative rendering techniques.
- You are able to strike an appropriate balance between up-front design and iterative development for the task at hand.
- You are results oriented.
- Create and extended Stylized rendering techniques used in the game across all supported platforms (PC, XSX, PS5).
- Collaborate with Art, Design and Engineering to design, implement and optimize rendering features.
- Optimize graphics systems to improve memory usage and frame rate.
- Work on both Desktop and current generation Console platforms.
- Extensive knowledge and full understanding of area of specialization, principles and practices within the graphics discipline
- Proficiency in at least one modern Graphics API (DirectX 12, Vulkan, Metal).
- Proficiency in at least one publicly available Game Engine (Unreal, Unity, Godot).
- Proficiency in C++.
- Excellent general math skills.
- You are an effective communicator and collaborator across multiple disciplines.
- 5+ years of professional graphics/rendering engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in AAA game engines on graphics features.
- Experience working within Unreal 4 / Unreal 5.
- At least one shipped AAA title on console platforms working on cutting edge rendering features.
