What Impact will you have as a Rendering Engineer at Timbre Games:

    • Implement new rendering solutions based on creative concepts 
    • Work with the technical art team on best practices and implementations 
    • Analyzing and improving game performance on multiple platforms 
    • Help all disciplines on the team to get the most out of the technology 
    • Create materials, shaders, and other visual effects 
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques, research, and hardware 

Your Track Record Might Include:

    • 3+ years of experience building highly immersive games or experiences 
    • A BS in computer science or a related field (mathematics, physics, engineering), or equivalent games industry experience 
    • Experience with rendering systems and shader languages such as HLSL 
    • Deep knowledge of at least one graphics API such as DirectX12 
    • Development experience in C++ and working knowledge of Unreal Engine’s rendering pipeline 
    • Working with early-stage prototypes, from concept through to launch 
    • Highly skilled communication, both verbally and digitally, to different disciplines within the studio 
    • Experience in rendering on non-PC platforms (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch) 
    • A beautifully crafted gaming experience that has shipped to PC or console!
