Founded in 2020, Gunzilla Games is a fresh, independent developer working on its next-generation multiplayer shooter IP in three metropolitan locations: Frankfurt, Germany (HQ); Los Angeles, USA; and Kyiv, Ukraine. The company is helmed by Ex-Crytek board member, CSO Alexander Zoll, together with serial entrepreneur and CEO, Vlad Korolev. Gunzilla is built on the desire to innovate and push the limits of the industry.
Gunzilla’s formidable team of talent come from a variety of industry-leading studios and publishers, including Ubisoft, Electronic Arts (EA), THQ and more. Oscar-nominated screenwriter, director and producer Neill Blomkamp joined Gunzilla as Chief Visionary Officer. In addition, the team features industry veterans like video game writer Olivier Henriot who helped shape the story of such notable games such as Assassin’s Creed, The Division, Far Cry and many more, and Richard K. Morgan, the author of the Altered Carbon series, which has since been adapted into a popular Netflix show. Gunzilla’s Chief Technology Officer Timur Davidenko led the development of CryEngine as Technical Director, and worked on Far Cry, Warface and Crysis. Art Director Jussi Keteli was involved in the iconic Gears of War series, Star Citizen and Hunt: Showdown.

      Gunzilla Games is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to help us make sure our customers have an amazing experience on our current and future websites, every time they use it.


    • In this position, you will:
    • Review system requirements, specifications, technical design documents, and more, providing accurate analysis that improves the product.
    • Plan, estimate, and execute test plans and cases, creating appropriate reports on results and delivering to appropriate departments.
    • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
    • Identify, record, document thoroughly, as well as track bugs while working with DataBases (SQL)
    • Create appropriate recommendations and execution plans based on report findings.
    • Effectively document testing phases, identify and record defects, bugs, errors, and other associated issues.
    • Assisting the team in troubleshooting issues that may arise during the testing phase, offering fitting recommendations and implementations.
    • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet Gunzilla’s needs
    • Cooperate with internal teams (e.g. developers and managers) to identify system requirements.
    • Keep abreast with industry trends in testing strategies.


    • Must be fluent in English
    • 2+ years of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role; experience in software development is a plus.
    • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
    • Experience with testing web-based applications.
    • Knowledge with HTML/CSS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP protocols, JSON, API.
    • Understanding of WebSocket.
    • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (Postman, ChromeDevTools, Fiddler, etc.).
    • Basic knowledge in BASH, SSH.
    • Solid understanding of project management, QA methodologies, tools and processes.
    • A strong understanding of SQL and other associated databases, and Agile frameworks, is a plus.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, a knack for problem-solving, a desire to enhance user experience, and a passion for technology.
    • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject is a plus.
