Production Support Administrator (IT)

The Production Support Administrator is a critical member of the Information Technology team and is responsible for the technology footprint of Skydance’s Features and TV production contractors. They are responsible for account management and creation, remote support for users, management of the file delivery systems needed by Production, and curation and management of the paperless document systems. Additionally, they are responsible for the setup and deployment of computers and storage devices used by Production, inventory management, and field support of those systems. #Media

Responsibilities

    • Onboarding and offboarding Features and TV users for SaaS platforms (e.g. EP Scenechronize, PIX, Box)
    • Account and tenancy management (e.g. Okta, O365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom)
    • Management of file systems using Box, EP Scenechronize, Aspera
    • Desktop support for Production hardware including macOS and Windows using VFX and Post software, field support for BYOD users
    • Content Security escalation and assistance with content controls
    • Advise and setup for remote VFX and Post houses; some Editorial
    • Assist Development and IT teams in the planning, implementation, maintenance, support, and relocation of studio assets
    • Ensure the reliable and efficient handling of studio assets and data
    • Generate and maintain both internal and end-user documentation

Requirements

    • 3+ years desktop support experience including macOS and Windows
    • End user support – M&E, VFX, Post a plus
    • Knowledge of SaaS platforms, project management tools
    • Some network skills required when investigating field office issues; ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
    • Some knowledge of Avid, Resolve, VFX workflows
    • Experience with the administration of Active Directory Users and Objects
    • Willingness to be “on call” and work outside of regular work hours, as needed
    • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver them on time
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work closely and efficiently with studio teams
