About this Role

Playco is seeking a Platform Partnerships Manager to help manage our strategic platform partnership efforts. Reporting to our Vice President of Business Development, Corporate Development and Partnerships, you will help manage and execute our strategy to deepen existing relationships with Playco’s largest and most complex social media platform partners. Your work will directly impact how effectively we collaborate with our partners to drive distribution of our games to people who love them.

Responsibilities

    • Manage partnership interests across engineering, product, legal, BD, and ops to help us execute against our current platform distribution initiatives.
    • Help source and socialize new projects, platform partners and product opportunities.
    • Manage day-to-day resolution of issues that impact the delivery and availability of our games.
    • You will be the expert on each platform partner's priorities, roadmaps, and timelines and work to drive alignment of presence and purpose across the XFN.
    • Engage in and sometimes drive internal and external conversations related to platform partner APIs that impact our games.
    • Serve as air traffic control between platform technical teams and Playco’s product and engineering teams.
    • By building strong relationships, your domain expertise and forward-looking vision will help to re-imagine opportunities with existing and new platform partners.
    • Involve key stakeholders as needed to ensure we’re optimizing the impact of our collaboration.
    • Be a trusted advisor and compelling pitch person. You will create and deliver compelling presentations that get our partners excited about our work.

Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in business development and/or partnerships experience, including a minimum of 2 years in software development, technical account/partner management, tool development, product management, or developer advocacy.
    • Strong understanding of digital media and tech trends and an informed perspective on such trends.
    • Ability to understand, reproduce, and drive bugs and other issues with the Engineering team.
    • Ability to communicate with engineering and non-engineering teams.
    • Ability to manage multiple partners, projects, and issues at once all while driving progress of your projects forward at a steady pace.
    • Experience working with API development and integrations.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.
    • Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
    • A natural inclination to build and cultivate strong relationships with your internal and external partners.
    • Experience navigating and driving progress within complex organizations partnerships.
    • Desire to work in a dynamic start-up environment which requires the ability to pivot quickly, multi-task and ruthlessly prioritize projects and resources.
