JIRA Administrator


Do you have a deep understanding of Jira administration and associated tools, and knowledge of how this can be applied to game development? As the first dedicated JIRA Administrator in Guerrilla’s fast-paced environment this is a unique opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders across the studio to understand their needs and create custom, creative solutions.

What you will do 

  • Support JIRA and Confluence administration, including design, creation and management of custom workflows, custom fields, dashboards, addons, reports and integration with our Decima tools.
  • Create and manage complex configuration elements including project workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, notification schemes and integration with our Decima tools.
  • Work with key stakeholders to enable and improve custom workflows, fields, screens, dashboards, and reports. Perform regular sessions with production staff to understand where JIRA processes can be improved
  • Create, maintain and support dashboards and advanced filters for end-users reporting capabilities.
  • Give input on JIRA best practices and standardization
  • Automate JIRA processes as much as possible to save the team time and reduce errors and omissions.
  • Work closely with the IT teams (within Guerrilla and Sony Interactive Entertainment) on projects such as major upgrades, data migrations, automations, plugin selection, and integration with other systems.
  • Work with our tools team to extend JIRA integration with our editor and engine 
  • Stabilize and Future proof our existing JIRA environment and assess future platform migration (JIRA Data Center/ Cloud)

Who you are

  • Expert level administration knowledge of JIRA 
  • Good understanding of best practices for tracking project health, velocity, burndown and other metrics
  • Experience administering complex, heavily customized JIRA Server projects
  • Write clear documentation materials for training purposes
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members 
  • Enjoy working in creatively-driven environments. Extra points if you have previous experience in the Games industry
  • Enjoys experimenting with new techniques and processes
  • Atlassian certification/s  a plus
