Frontier is an established, market leading independent developer and publisher of videogames for PC and consoles. Purpose of the role
As part of our continued growth, we have an opportunity for a HR Assistant to join our friendly and passionate team, and support our rapidly growing studio. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this role will work with the wider HR and Talent team to deliver first class support to our people managers and colleagues across the Company.
Responsibilities
- Provide an excellent and professional service to our people managers and colleagues by acting as the first point of contact for all HR inquiries.
- Work alongside the other HR Assistants to manage the shared HR inbox.
- Provide top level day-to-day administrative support; including but not limited to, diary management, correspondence, file and database management, payroll admin etc.
- Track, monitor and report on a wide range of key HR data/metrics.
- Independently manage a range of processes, such as joiners and leavers, maternity and paternity leave, etc.
- Manage and conduct new starter inductions.
- Assist with onboarding initiatives, as required to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
- Responsible for keeping our HRIS and benefits platform up to date and acting as the first point of contact for system assistance.
- Support with Global Mobility initiatives and onboarding.
- Support the Advisors by taking minutes in ER meetings and exit interviews.
- Work closely with the HR Advisors and HR Business Partner’s on the development and delivery of business programmes and assisting with a range of HR projects across the full employee life cycle, such as succession planning, benefits and reward, L&D, compliance, wellbeing, employee engagement, etc.
About you
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Keen interest in undertaking CIPD qualifications
- Basic understanding of HR processes and basic legislation
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Well organised with strong administrative skills
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent listening skills
- Personable and approachable with the ability to work across the business, involving relevant stakeholders where necessary
