Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to work in a unique game development environment. This will be a challenging and varied HR role within a fast-growing AAA games development studio and publisher lead quality assurance team in a brand new, state of the art bespoke facility in the heart of Sofia’s business park.
In this role as HR Administrator you will be key support within the HR team, delivering high quality and professional service through effective administration across all aspects. As HR Administrator, you will work closely with all members of the team to ensure that a professional, customer-focused, proactive, and flexible HR service is delivered to the studio.
Please note: This is a temporary position covering for maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities
As the HR Administrator on the team, you will manage incoming and outgoing documents in line with HR-related processes in order to ensure we are up to date and compliant with the Bulgarian labour law legislation. This is a key role within the company and you will be responsible for ensuring accurate recording of data, such as vacation requests and absenteeism, employee information management and administration, employee relations, and relevant documentation.
You will oversee health and safety activities and be responsible for the process, ensure all employees are aware of health and safety policies and procedures making sure the processes are clearly communicated and compliant with the legislative requirements. Part of your responsibilities will be to prepare executive orders and further administrate relevant processes. You will also provide ad hoc admin support to the Head of HR and there will be opportunities to be involved with a wide range of HR projects within the studio.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience
Essential
- Previous experience working in an HR environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of Bulgarian labour legislation
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and written in English and Bulgarian
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
- Proven track record of dealing with sensitive or confidential matters
- Ability to interpret data and statistics
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with database systems such as Oracle, Sage People, SAP, etc.
- Understanding of payroll processes
