ProbablyMonsters is looking for a creative, technical, and collaborative Graphics Engineer. You will join a team focusing on action game play, world building, level design, AI, and character design during the early phases of game development.
We are seeking a Graphics Engineer who is experienced in modern real time rendering and graphics techniques. Being able to design and implement new graphics feature customizations into Unreal Engine. Respond to feature requests from Art & Design with a focus on performance and maintainability within the scope of a Stylized rendering pipeline. We are seeking someone who is ready to dive into new problems, figure out novel solutions to existing problems, and able to tackle Graphics problems across PC & Console. We are all enthusiastic about helping to shape a culture of collaboration and trust while creating best-in-class action games.
The salary range for this position is $117,300 to $176,000. This range represents the salary for the position commensurate with experience, knowledge, and demonstrated success in the field.

- Create and extended Stylized rendering techniques used in the game across all supported platforms.
- Collaborate with Art, Design and Engineering to design, implement and optimize rendering features.
- Optimize graphics systems to improve memory usage and frame rate.
- Working on both Desktop and Console development.
- Passion for graphics programming.
- Proficiency in at least one modern Graphics API (DirectX 12, Vulkan, Metal).
- Proficiency in at least one public Game Engine (Unreal, Unity, Godot).
- Proficiency in C++.
- Excellent general math skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- 2+ years of professional Engineering Experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in AAA game engines on graphics features.
- Experience working within Unreal 4 / Unreal 5.
