Experienced Game Designer [Black Budget]

We are PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, the global battle royale phenomenon! Since the release of our flagship title in 2017 we have become one of the highest selling video games of all time with over 70 million copies sold – that’s a lot of Chicken Dinners!   

We are headquartered in Seoul, South Korea and sit within the KRAFTON, Inc. corporation. Here in Amsterdam, we are now working on a brand-new IP as the lead development studio. We’re incredibly excited about the project and can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on.

As Game Designer you will be responsible for designing gameplay features from concept to final polish on our brand-new unannounced IP.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Clearly communicate your design work through documents, presentations, and functional prototypes.
• Translate the high-level vision into functional and engaging gameplay features.
• Follow up on playtests and feedback to iterate on the features.
• Plan the feature work together with the producer to fit within an agile development environment.
• Design for CCC, Ai, combat, environmental interactions, and all other areas of the game.
• Contribute to improving the development pipeline and coordination with all other teams.
• Create an awesome player experience and help us achieve our gameplay goals.

What we’re ideally looking for:

• Some years of gameplay design experience
• Experience designing the core gameplay mechanics of a game
• Fluent in the English language
• Passionate about game development and game design in particular
• Shipped at least 1 AAA title
• Experience working on first person or third person shooters games
