As the Environment Senior Concept Artist, you will hold a key creative position within the studio. Reporting to the Production Designer, you will be an integral part of a team and contribute to the vision to the movie.


    • Work with the Production Designer and Environment Lead Concept Designer to help establish a consistent visual direction.
    • Work effectively with the Production Designer and Environment Lead Concept Designer so that they are aware of production concerns and issues dealing with creating concept art.
    • Produce work in an efficient and timely manner, keeping on schedule.
    • Create art for film concepts, environments, backgrounds, color keys, lighting and prop design, as well as drawovers on CG Environment stills to adjust them and put them on style.
    • Perform research that will inform the design of the work.
    • Create presentation materials as needed.
    • Rework Material from feedback and notes while maintaining a fresh perspective.
    • Keep up on current artistic methodologies and on technology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company, in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment.
    • Work together with the team, providing them with support, guidance and instruction in areas that contribute towards their artistic and professional growth.
    • Follows the Supervisor’s and Lead's guidance.


    • 4+ years of professional experience in animation, illustration, or comic book industries.
    • Strong drawing and painting skills.
    • Working knowledge of tools and software such as Cintiq, Photoshop, or other applicable design software.
    • Proficient in English.
    • Strong creative and technical skills and ability to share them.
    • Flexibility and adaptability.
