Digital Content Associate Manager
San Mateo, CA (hybrid/onsite)

This role will require onsite work at PlayStation HQ in San Mateo, CA.

Role Overview:

This role reports into the digital operations and business readiness team who are responsible for the timely delivery of new product launches, sales events, and other strategic projects. 

The Digital Content Associate Manager is responsible for timely and accurate product and website content set-up and maintenance. This role works closely with a wide variety of global stakeholders, such as Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain and Engineering to support the delivery of key projects and business initiatives across our global platforms. 

The right person for this role is a strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and improvements in ways of working to encourage efficiency and global alignment. They are self-motivated, comfortable with autonomy, organized, detailed-oriented and able to keep people on track through their excellent ability to communicate at all levels.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely set-up of new products across multiple countries within the relevant systems
  • Responsible for accurate and timely set-up of website content including homepage and category pages across multiple countries within the relevant systems 
  • Collaborating with the Digital Merchandising team to design and create informative and inspirational home, category and product pages, utilizing available content
  • Defining clear timelines with Brand Marketing and Creative for localized product assets such as images, videos and product information
  • Utilizing the Translation team where applicable to ensure timely delivery of translated product information
  • Editing images and videos to the correct format and size whilst maintaining quality so they can be used on-site
  • Managing content metadata within the relevant systems
  • Management of assets within the DAM system ensuring correct and most up to date content is available and displayed on-site
  • Making timely and accurate updates to content on-site when changes are requested
  • Supporting the Digital Merchandising team with content activities related to promotions 
  • Supporting the delivery and implementation of projects related to new products, campaigns and other strategic initiatives
  • Collating and sharing status updates for projects, keeping all stakeholders aligned and on task
  • Being the point of contact for the Digital Operations & Business Readiness team during US working hours 

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a program and/or project management role within retail operations
  • Experience in retail e-commerce, preferably in consumer electronics or video game software
  • 3+ years of related experience using e-commerce content tools and platforms, preferably SAP Commerce Cloud/Hybris and Adobe Experience Manager 6.5 (CMS, Experience Fragments, DAM)
  • Independent, proactive and comfortable with driving key projects with limited guidance.
  • Successful experience working in a global structure and operations.
  • Experience using editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Media Encoder
  • Self-motivated with the ability to drive ownership and accountability
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented, organized, and responsive
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate progress and governance
  • Knowledge of SEO standards
