Job Overview

We are looking for a Content Specialist to join its team working on World of Warships (WoWS). In this role, you will contribute to WoWS’s success in China by effectively implementing content production and content strategy and the 3rd Party Publishing(3PP) brand guideline.

Reports To

This position will directly report to Regional Publishing Director, China

What will you do?

  • Work with World of Warships China Product Team on all aspects of the content production in China, to influence product roadmap and priorities with insights and market intelligence, including the 3rd Party Publishing(3PP) brand guideline.

  • Work with Product Manager, China to determine key messaging and creative approaches for digital, CRM, on/offline campaigns and performance advertising.

  • Coordinating communication and initiatives with internal stakeholders and external partners to review publishing/marketing assets.

  • Work closely with Global content team and external partners to check and tailor the content production in early stage.

  • Supporting and executing live operation, content releases

  • Provide review reports for content production and source to identify key issues, and potential risk.

What are we looking for?

  • 3~5 years’ experience in relevant fields such as Content Management or Marketing

  • Proficiency with 2D art tools (Adobe photoshop, illustrator or Figma)

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, multicultural environment

  • Native in Chinese and ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing in English

  • Eagle eye for content review

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Understanding of Chinese culture and cultural sensitivity

  • Passion for gaming

  • Familiarity with Wargaming products

  • Experience working in relevant gaming or tech or entertainment industries 

  • Experience in 3rd Party Publishing Business model

  • Experience in video editing

  • Basic HTML knowledge

  • Good interpersonal and communications skill

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, journalism or relevant disciplines
