Business Analyst

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking to hire a Business Analyst to the Change & Delivery team which is responsible for the delivery of change related projects and programmes for the finance function and these often have impact across our wider enterprise.

We have several strategic programmes commencing and we’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst (2 + years’ analytical experience in a global organisation).  Ideally, we’d like someone with exposure to Finance operations and/or a strong understanding of process mapping and process. Excellent MS Office skills is essential, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Also essential are strong communication skills and the curiosity to learn on the job in a fast-paced environment.

What will you do?

• Thoroughly study business needs of functional teams, evaluate these and apply your experience to make recommendations and support the creation of strong business solutions

• Collaborate with internal clients and other functional teams (Development, QA, UX/UI, Maintenance) and other involved people to support overall programme delivery

• Work on requirements definition and analysis throughout the whole lifecycle of the solution

• Utilize business analysis tools: models, prototypes, schemes, diagrams and templates

• Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications

• Improve systems by studying current practices; identification of potential optimization options, gaining agreement and designing modifications for implementation

• Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures

• Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget

• Provide business case analysis to support transformation efforts

• Perform periodic reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports

• Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes

• Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models

What are we looking for?

• 2 + years of practical BA experience and preferably holding a recognized Business Analysis qualification

• Experience preparing and managing BA documentation (i.e. Business requirements; Functional design document)

• Fluent English

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Russian languages skills

• Understanding of Lean Six Sigma and/or project management methodologies

• Understanding of Agile approach and its methodologies in a systems implementation context

• Experience with Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira)

• Experience (or strong practical understanding) of with Power BI, SAPUI highly regarded.
