Job description
At Larian our community plays an important role in how we shape our game, live development and Early Access periods have become central to our approach toward excellence. Our games continually receive updates, be they patches delivering large content and feature pushes, or more hotfixes to address the more immediate needs of our players. As a build engineer, you'll be responsible for making sure that an up-to-date build is available as quickly as possible. You'll implement solutions and own automation initiatives to at ensuring stability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop and maintain robust new builds for each platform
- Monitor and improve on automated builds systems and continuous integration
- Work with IT to monitor and scale our buildservers
- Create and maintain documentation of the build/release process
- Assist release manager during a patch release
- Provide support for other team members
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years industry experience
- Good knowledge of Jenkins
- Good knowledge of Ansible
- Good knowledge of scripting languages like Ruby or Groovy
- Good communication skills in spoken/written English
- You are a team player and willing to take responsibility
- You are willing to experiment and iterate over a specific feature
- Excellent software design and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Full Stack Development
- Experience with Perforce
- Experience in a similar position in another game company
