The Jam City Legal Team provides key support for all of the company's strategic initiatives. We are seeking a motivated, bright, and capable lawyer to join a fast-paced and lean legal team as an associate corporate counsel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Associate Corporate Counsel will play an integral role, supporting the legal function in a variety of corporate legal matters including corporate governance, data privacy, and commercial transactions, your responsibilities will include: Draft, negotiate, and manage a range of transactions, including NDAs, saas agreements, consulting agreements, and other commercial agreements related to the company’s business.
- Partner with a range of cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives supporting the company's business goals.
- Help develop and build workflows, templates, process improvements, and internal and external facing policies.
- Assist with general transactions and other commercial legal matters as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience as a licensed attorney for a law firm or in-house corporate counsel with a focus on transactional matters, preferably for gaming or technology businesses.
- Member of the California Bar or eligible to become Registered In-House Counsel in CaliforniaRequired
- Level Of Education: Law (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for this role. The range listed is just one component of Jam City's total compensation package for employees, which may also include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, or market demands. This range is based on a full-time position. This range may be modified in the future. In addition, Jam City provides a variety of benefits to employees, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, life, disability, and accident insurance. Pay Range: $115,000 - $173,000 salary per year.
