The Analysts will primarily be responsible for data processing, which accounts for approximately 50% of the role, while also handling FP&amp;A tool user support tasks, which account for the remaining 50%. These positions play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial data processing and managing projects to support financial planning and analysis activities. The ideal candidates should possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data manipulation and project management, and the ability to multitask effectively.<br /><br /><strong>Key Responsibilities<br /></strong><br />On a daily basis you will take on tasks that will be balanced between two main directions.<br /><br />You will handle data processing tasks in terms of:<br /></p><ul><li>Collect, collate, and validate financial data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.</li><li>Develop and maintain automated data collection and manipulation processes to streamline financial data processing and reporting.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement efficient data collection and reporting methodologies.</li><li>Support the maintenance and optimization of the financial database, ensuring data integrity, system functionality, and adherence to data governance policies.</li><li>Implement data quality controls and validation checks to identify and resolve discrepancies or anomalies.</li><li>Generate regular and ad hoc financial reports, dashboards, and data visualizations, providing insights to support decision-making.</li><li>Conduct data analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting, to identify patterns, trends, and potential risks or opportunities.</li><li>Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in financial data management, automation, and reporting.</li></ul>You will also take on FP&amp;A tool in-house user support tasks such as:<br /><ul><li>Assist in the coordination, planning, and execution of financial planning and analysis projects.</li><li>Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.</li><li>Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigating actions to ensure successful project completion.</li><li>Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.</li><li>Track project milestones, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.</li><li>Prepare project status reports and presentations to provide updates to management and stakeholders.</li><li>Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices in project management.</li></ul><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Experience<br /></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in financial data processing, analysis, and database management.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data manipulation and automation tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI).</li><li>Knowledge of financial concepts, financial planning processes, and reporting requirements.</li><li>Familiarity with ERP systems and financial databases.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</li><li>Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.</li><li>Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.</li><li>Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.</li></ul>
