<li>Set up time of day lighting and atmosphere to hit specified targets.</li>
<li>Set up lighting of key indoor locations, cut scenes, and cinematics.</li>
<li>Set up full screen effects such as auto exposure, bloom, ambient occlusion, global illumination, and colour grading.</li>
<li>Provide input to the improvement and evolution of lighting tools and techniques.</li>
<li>Build positive working relationships and participate in team meetings.</li>
<li>Mentor and guide less experienced team members to help elevate the teams’ expertise.</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Skills, Knowledge and Experience</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Typically 2 to 4+ years of industry experience and proven game development experience as a lighting artist (or similar position).</li>
<li>Strong understanding of how physically based rendering systems and lighting interact.</li>
<li>Strong foundational skills, including composition, shadow and light, design, structure, silhouette, and colour theory.</li>
<li>Knowledge of programming languages (C++, C#, Javascript). </li>
<li>Maya scripting experience in Python and MEL.</li>
<li>Experience with lighting within Unity HDRP.</li>
<li>Experience with Project Management (Shotgrid, Jira, Confluence) tools.</li>
<li>Experience with Source Control (Perforce or Git) software.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills within a multidisciplinary art team.</li>
<li>Self-motivated, technical problem-solver, and a team player.</li>
